On Wednesday I am speaking at the iNET National Conference.  You can download my presentation here.

There are lots of basic, easy to use web tools to enable students to communicate safely with a real audience.  Here are some examples:

Online Survey - Our students wrote survey questions and we put them online using surveyatschool.  This year we got 1328 replies!

Blogging - We recently invited students at our school and our link school in the USA to post comments on the question ‘what is the most serious issue in the world today?’.  We did this using a free edublog.

Etwinning - With our link schools in Ariège, France we have created a virtual space to share resources.  We did this using Elanguages.

Global ICT - I have adapted some of the KS3 ICT units with a global dimension.  The lesson plans and activities are all accessable online.

Monk-e-mail - Speaks for itself!
