This is an online environment where schools can meet, discuss, plan and accomplish innovative and exiting international projects. The aims of Global-Lounge.org are: to make international links easier to plan, organize and run; provide ideas and information for schools seeking to establish new links; encourage students to share work and ideas; develop a wider understanding of different forms of diversity. The 3 projects up and running include a History Comenius Project examining significant events and individuals of the 1950s & 1960s (pending funding); a Holocaust Memorial project; and another Comenius scheme which focuses on minorities (pending funding)

Norfolk Children’s Services are creating a unique opportunity for two teachers to achieve a Masters of Arts by Research, over two years, accredited by UEA.  Successful candidates will be focusing their research on the evaluation of the Learning Platform Programme in Norfolk Primary schools and submit a research thesis (maximum 40,000 words) as part of their studies.

 

University fees for the MA research programme will be fully covered by Norfolk Children’s Services.  In addition to the academic supervision provided by UEA, candidates will also be able to receive information and support from the e-learning team.
