Teachers in Norfolk enjoy sharing ideas, experiences and solutions, particularly when they attend courses at the Professional Development Centre in Norwich.  Professional networks develop as a result of colleagues attending courses and many participants would like to continue these conversation beyond the time of the course of conference they attending.  Norfolk Children's Services are always keen to be at the cutting edge and have therefore decided to use modern social networking technology to facilitate these learning networks and forums.  Advanced Skills teachers and other leading practitioners have already started to use the social networking site at Norfolk Learning Communities, created for in 2006 as  part of the 'Leading Practitioners - Leading Learners' project.  The site will now be upgraded and every teacher in Norfolk's Secondary Schools will be given access.  If you would like to set up a community of Norfolk Learners for your subject or your school, please contact Sebastian Gasse at the PDC.
