Now and then colleagues want to know where I am or even arrange a meeting with me.  As I have been working in local government a while now and know how exciting these meetings can be, I'm only to happy to oblidge.  However, I don't really want to have a meeting in order to arrange one.  So I decided to share my calendar with all my colleages.  Luckily there is an explanation of how you do this on the intranet. If you are not connected to the corporate network, this link won't work, so you might be better of looking at Microsoft online.  It's quite straight forward and luckily we work in big offices, so there is bound to be someone who can help you!\"Outlook

This is a post for Advisory Colleagues

In Netmedia MyClasses, you can directly link to a class page.  To do this, you click on the class and then you copy the URL out of the address bar in your browser.  Unfortunately, it's a little more tricky when you are sharing this link with someone who is a remote user of the class.  Their domain is slightly different.  On the E2BN Netmedia site, each school has a different 3 letter code followed by md.e2bn.net/myclasses.  For example the advisory services has the domain n99.md.e2bn.net.  If you send the link of a joint class to the user at the school, you need to replace the first 3 letters to reflect the site the school is using.  Anne Mitchell has a list of all the school domains.  Hapyy emailing!

Year 5 pupils at North Walsham Junior School will soon be making use of web journals, files shared online.  As part of history and geography programme, which includes a field trip pupils will be making use of a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).  Year 5 teaching staff, Ruth Brumby the head teacher and support staff joined training provided by Norfolk's eLearning Team to get this programme off the ground.  Teachers were excited by the opportunities and immediately started to make connections between the facilities of the VLE and teaching, learning as well as collaborative planning.

North Walsham Junior School is one of the forerunners of the Learning Platform Programme.
