We now have copies of this toolkit from NCSL available at the PDC.  Please contact Anne Mitchell if you would like to receive a copy.  The toolkit contains case studies from a number of different secondary schools across the country detailing their use and implementation of ICT.  A CD Rom is also included in the pack.

This training programme is designed to support both teachers of other subjects delivering ICT and newly qualified teachers in ICT.

I had the opportunity to visit Nigel Sinclair's classroom at Neatherd High School today.  I was impressed by the displays around the room -System Life Cycle, exemplar work and how to improve coursework, celebration of good work by pupils, a feature on internet safety and key terminology - it was all there.  Particularly the evolving feature on Internet safety I find encouraging, as ICT departments and pastoral leaders need to develop this as technology changes.
