Neil Morson :: Blog :: Useful resources

September 16, 2008

My first post and I'll be honest - I didn't read the rulebook so if I've just broken any - sorry! A couple of useful links I've found that people may find interesting.

www.alice.org Excellent open source control software rivalling Scratch. From what I read it's generally aimed toward high school/college. Not a great many tutorials available for it but very easy to understand and pick up with the built in tutorials.

Also, for anyone struggling with video conversion, try http://www.erightsoft.com/S6Kg1.html. It will convert almost any video file to any other format and is free and relatively easy to use.

Hope this is useful to some
