Many of the best moments have been as a Form Tutor.  I think my previous experience as a 'pastoral' deputy head has always helped me see the importance of this role, and it's often overlooked . . . in fact, when I got my timetable last August, my form wasn't mentioned so I thought I didn't have one!

The Learning Community my form group is in won the first-ever Community points competition, so we all went off to Letton Hall near Dereham for the day: go-karting, playing rounders and generally just relaxing at the end of a long year.  (I suspect we were also meant to be building up an anti-stress store to see us through next year's building works and upheaval, but that's another story.)  See attached files for some pics from the day; I will also add Form Tutor tips soon.

2006/7 was also my first year teaching The Tempest; I was pleased to be able to work with Jenny Fletcher (AST @ Broadland) and the LEA English team to create KS3 SATs resources for teachers in Norfolk.  I think there were some problems with electronic accessibility to start with.  If you didn't see them, they're attached - but obviously they'll be adapted soon for next year's Key Scenes.
