I'm Steve Phoenix, an AST at Wymondham High School in Norfolk. I am an English teacher but have a key role in the school, as ITT Coordinator and and NQT Induction Manager. Aged 55, I have taught in Norfolk for 34 years, 32 of them at Wymondham.

Most of my outreach work as an AST tends to be supporting induction managers, NQTs or trainee teachers.

My wife, Celia, teaches at Wreningham Primary School and we have two grown-up children,Oliver (21) and Lucy (20). I am a keen sportsman and my main passion is cricket. I am Chairman, Junior Development Officer and coach at Great Melton Cricket Club so I'm very busy.
